Privacy Policy — Eumenes HOS Meeting

Effective: 11 June 2026 · EUMENES.AI (Singapore UEN 53520480M) · Contact: [email protected]

The one-paragraph version

HOS Meeting is local-first by design. Your meeting recordings, screenshots and transcripts are created and stored only on your computer. We operate no service that receives them. The app talks to our servers only to validate your trial/license, to check for updates, and to send a small weekly anonymous usage statistic. You can read every byte it sends below.

What the app records on your device

All of the above stays in your Documents\Eumenes Meetings folder. Deleting it deletes the data. Uninstalling the app never touches your recordings.

Never sent to us: audio, screenshots, transcripts, meeting titles, participant names, file names, or any content of your meetings. No advertising identifiers, no third-party trackers in the app.

Optional cloud transcription

If you explicitly select a cloud transcription engine (AssemblyAI or Groq), the audio of the meeting you transcribe is sent directly from your PC to that provider under your own API account and their privacy terms. Eumenes.ai never proxies, stores or sees this traffic. Your API keys are stored on your PC encrypted with Windows DPAPI. The default engines are fully local and involve no cloud at all.

Payments

Subscriptions are processed by Stripe (stripe.com) or, in the Microsoft Store edition, optionally by the Microsoft Store. We receive subscription status and the email you used at checkout; we never see card numbers. Invoices and refunds are handled by the respective payment provider.

The website

hos.eumenes.ai uses Google Analytics 4 to count pageviews and downloads (standard GA cookies). Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP, user agent) for security, rotated automatically.

Retention & deletion

Your responsibilities

Recording conversations may require the consent of other participants depending on your jurisdiction. You are responsible for complying with applicable law. When in doubt, announce that you are recording.

Changes

We will update this page and the in-app EULA when practices change; material changes are announced via the app's update notes.
